The Sorocaba Technology Park aims to spread the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship for sustainable development in the city of Sorocaba and region through the joint between the government, universities and industries, to transform knowledge into wealth.
The Park is a space for companies, universities to install their research laboratories to develop new products or services, generating improvements in quality of life.
The facilities are in an area of 1.8 million m² to create innovative businesses (incubator), development activities of R, D & I (Research, Development & Innovation) projects with institutions of higher education and strategic area for future projects.
The Sorocaba Tech Park Central Building now has 12,000 m² and will have 18,000 m² in the second stage. The building has an innovation agency, technology incubator, universities and companies.
